Marinated NZ scampi with avocado soup & avruga
Confit petuna ocean trout with konbu, celery & apple
Grilled leatherjacket with onion petals & pil pil

Pancetta wrapped quail breast with fresh sprouts & onion
Braised cape grim beef short-rib with spring vegetables
Blood orange sorbet and summer pudding
Golden peach with peach granita
Chocolate pave with cream cheese ice cream & cinnamon twigs

The verdict
Masterchef Braz: "Ambience was average. Voices bouncing off the wall, not sure how Chicken slept through it. Meal size was just right...for a small sized person! Loved the braised cape grim beef short-rib with spring vegetables. Overall: 7/10"

Masterchef C: "Great history and standing in the industry but failed to impress overall. Consistent but not forward thinking. Atmosphere in the restaurant was lacking. Best dish of the night was the sashimi of kingfish with blackbean & orange. Overall: 6/10"

Masterchef Ralph: "Tetsuya is over-hyped...so over-hyped that Chicken fell asleep!"

Masterchef Chicken: "No comment. Slept through the entire meal"
